 *Cricket at Maidaan!!!!*

*Canes* batting first, outplayed the *Wolves* in all the departments of the cricket game today.

In a dazzling display of explosive batting prowess, *Arjun & Harsha* set the Maidaan ablaze with a spectacular partnership leaving the Wolves  clueless.

*Arjun*, coming to the crease in the very first over, infact the second ball of the innings with Aditya getting out to the first ball, played a calculated innings, first partnering well with *CP* & then increasing the momentum of the game with *Harsha* to be there till the last over. 

*Arjun's brutal innings*, filled with 8 boundaries and two towering sixes, led Canes to a monumental  team total.

*Harsha* did the unthinkable as he came up against *HK*  hitting three consecutive boundaries to take the game to an exciting total....but got out in the same over as he couldn't sense the missile-type yorker & getting his timbers shattered.

Initial push from *CP* with a couple of sweetly timed boundaries, a stylish onslaught from *Harsha*, a late cameo from *Sameer* & his whirlwind partnership with *Arjun* helped Canes put up a formidable total of *101 runs* in 12 overs.

*The sixes hit by Arjun & Sameer and the boundaries by Harsha*  were indeed a visual treat, showcasing powerful hitting and a confident batting approach.

*Chaitanya* was the pick of the bowlers for the Wolves. He was close to getting a *hat-trick* dismissing AK & Dhruv in a similar fashion ( boundary out).

*Chasing a target of 102 in 12 overs*, Wolves faced some hostile bowling from *Dhruv & Arjun* and were tottering with half the team back in the dug-out with the score board reading 40 runs.

*The highlight of the match was HK's tussle against Arjun*. HK enjoyed success against Arjun, scoring spectacular boundaries. However, the wizard had the last laugh, eventually cleaning up the Wolves batter with an unplayable yorker.

Wolves' notable performer was  *Chaitanya*, who was the top scorer  and none of the other players  played an impactful innings.

*Arjun’s* bowling spell was nothing short of extraordinary, picking up three crucial wickets.

Arjun’s three-wicket haul, especially dismissing *HK & Chaitanya* shifted the momentum massively in Canes favor. *Arjun* was well supported by *Dhruv, Sameer & Harsha*.

*Wolves* batters were completely outclassed in the chase by a high-class Canes bowling unit as they collapsed to *60 all-out*.
